The role summary

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring best-practice financial management across all New Zealand operations. You will:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting,  and financial & management reporting
  • Provide commercial insight across viticulture, winery, logistics, and farming operations
  • Support the CEO and senior leadership with strategic analysis
  • Oversee NZ accounting processes, compliance, and internal controls
  • Provide financial support for the pipeline of new business developments and investments
  • Deliver KPIs, dashboards, financial performance tracking and scenario modelling

What you will bring

  • CA/CPA Qualified Accountant (3+ years PQE)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Proven experience in both financial accounting and business partnering
  • Analytical capability with the ability to simplify complex data and communicate insights
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving ability
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
  • A background or strong interest in agriculture, viticulture, or the primary industries
