An opportunity has arisen for a capable and detail driven Financial Administrator to join a well-established corporate organisation on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is available due to an internal team member stepping into a key project, making it an excellent chance to get your foot in the door of a highly regarded employer with a strong internal reputation.

The role
Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, you’ll support the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial operations. The role is largely transactional but varied, with exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, treasury support and financial administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering purchasing and credit card transactions, ensuring compliance with expenditure policies
- Ensuring accurate payments are made to suppliers
- Managing corporate accounts receivable and ensuring deadlines are met
- Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Contributing to daily cash forecasting and treasury back-office processes
- Processing and allocating customer receipts accurately
- Supporting journal processing and general finance administration
- Identifying process improvements and helping lift efficiency within the team
About you
You’ll bring solid financial administration experience and enjoy working in a structured, high-volume environment. You’re organised, adaptable and comfortable juggling priorities, with a strong customer and service mindset.
You’ll have:
- Proven experience in financial administration or transactional finance roles
- Confidence working with financial systems and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management
- A collaborative approach and good interpersonal skills
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to suggest improvements
- Flexibility, resilience and a positive, can-do attitude
