Endura mining is an Australian Incorporated Gold and Copper mining operator led by a highly experienced and successful Board and Executive, backed by reputable investors such as Australian Super and Orion Resources.

The company’s flagship project is Snowy River Gold mine currently being developed on the West Coast of the South Island. With full consenting completed and the project fully funded, plant construction commences September 2025 with first production scheduled for late 2026 on a mining operation set to be one of the largest on the Coast with a forecast 10 plus year mine life.

The appointment of the Human Resources (HR) Manager is integral in establishing a full Senior Leadership Team. The role will report to the New Zealand General Manager with a dotted line to the head of People in Culture based in Sydney, Australia.

With plans to take staff numbers from the current 80 up to 250, the HR Manager will drive Recruitment and Talent Acquisition and lead Employment Relations and Workforce wellbeing. Building blocks will come from establishing robust processes, systems and sound policy for employee engagement. This will also set the scene for the installation of a strong, positive culture, based on the company’s core values of Safety, Integrity and Accountability. Given the magnitude of the opportunity, you will need to be on site on the coast 4 days per week.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team for Snowy River you will effectively be the HR partner for management in aligning organisational strategy to the site’s operational goals and represent the business in community engagement. Hence you will be a strongly experienced Human Resources practitioner who has operated at a senior level with particular experience in Employment Law and familiarity in working with unions.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growth focused organisation that understands the ‘People first’  principal and join at ground floor level to help shape and build an operation set for success.
