Baker Boys is proud to be a Christchurch based, privately owned, private label manufacturer of quality baking goods of 30 plus years standing. Baker Boys holds well established relationships amongst the major FMCG retailers and Food Service sectors across Australasia. With multiple international Food Standard certifications Baker Boys has successfully worked hard to develop a strong position within the Bakery industry as a leader in its field.  

With a clear well thought out strategy, Baker Boys clearly understand where they want to play and how they will leverage opportunity. Reporting into the National Sales Manager the Key Account Manager will manage, leverage and grow a number of Baker Boys key relationships with future opportunity to grow into managing complete market sectors and or international business. There is real opportunity to influence direction, effort and results and to become a key part of the senior management team in an environment where the decision chain is much shorter as is the opportunity to make a positive impact.

In addition to nurturing and growing key and strategically important relationships for the business, your role will focus on developing understanding for what drives these key accounts using relevant data and analysis to create focus and identify future opportunity. This recognises that good key account management is more than just developing friendly sustainable relationships and being the voice of the customer and is as much about delivering value for both parties that ultimately facilitates growth.

Your background ideally needs to come from FMCG grocery retail or from the supply chain to the sector. Prior experience or understanding of the Food Service market would be a plus.

There will be a definite and tangible opportunity for progression with strong support for personal development.
