- Costing & Commercial Insight
- Newly Created Role
- Shape the Future of Finance at ENI
ENI Manufacturing is a dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing group who have been expanding through acquisition, including the recent integration of a new business ENI Rollforming Systems. With growth comes complexity, and the organisation now needs a dedicated Finance Business Partner to strengthen costing accuracy, uplift reporting, and provide deeper commercial insight.
The Finance Business Partner will take ownership of costing, commercial analysis, and financial management across ENI Manufacturing and its subsidiaries. This newly created role offers genuine scope to influence, improve, and build, and is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands on accounting with meaningful business partnering.
The opportunity
Currently, the operations team manages much of the costing and labour analysis. This role will take full ownership of that space, establishing robust costing models, improving margin visibility, and giving the business the clarity it needs to make confident commercial decisions.
You’ll also support the GM Commercial & Finance by taking on key accounting responsibilities, helping integrate the newly acquired subsidiary, and relieving pressure across the finance function.
Responsibilities include:
- Costing leadership: developing reliable product costing models, analysing labour and machine time, reviewing BOMs and routings, and driving accurate margin and profitability insight
- Commercial analysis & business partnering: working closely with production, procurement, sales, and operations to translate financial information into practical, actionable decisions
- Month-end & accounting support: contributing to daily accounting activities, month-end close, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting across three entities
- Integration & improvement: supporting the integration of a newly acquired business, uplifting processes, strengthening controls, and improving reporting consistency across the group
- Collaboration: building strong relationships, constructively challenging assumptions, and becoming a trusted advisor to leaders and operational teams
This is not a traditional accounting role. ENI is full of engaged, enthusiastic, collaborative people who genuinely care about what they do. You’ll be embedded across the business, influencing decisions, improving processes, and helping shape the future of a growing manufacturing group.
This is a role with visibility, variety, and the freedom to make it your own.
You will have:
- Experience in manufacturing costing, either hands on in industry or through auditing manufacturing clients and be ready to step into a commercial role
- Strong grounding in management accounting, product costing, inventory/WIP, and margin analysis
- A confident communicator who builds relationships easily and works well across operational teams
- Someone proactive, curious, and comfortable working with incomplete information to create clarity
- A practical problem solver with strong analytical capability and a genuine interest in how things are made
- Someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and contributing to a collaborative team culture
What ENI offers
- A newly created role with real influence and room to grow
- A passionate, supportive, and highly engaged team
- A business in growth mode with plenty of interesting work: integration, improvement, and commercial impact
- A blend of hands-on accounting, commercial analysis, and business partnering
If you’re ready to step into a role where your costing expertise drives decisions and your initiative is genuinely valued, we’d love to hear from you.
