The role summary
As Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring best-practice financial management across all New Zealand operations. You will:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial & management reporting
- Provide commercial insight across viticulture, winery, logistics, and farming operations
- Support the CEO and senior leadership with strategic analysis
- Oversee NZ accounting processes, compliance, and internal controls
- Provide financial support for the pipeline of new business developments and investments
- Deliver KPIs, dashboards, financial performance tracking and scenario modelling
What you will bring
- CA/CPA Qualified Accountant (3+ years PQE)
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Proven experience in both financial accounting and business partnering
- Analytical capability with the ability to simplify complex data and communicate insights
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving ability
- Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
- A background or strong interest in agriculture, viticulture, or the primary industries
