About our client:

Based in Christchurch, this boutique Chartered Accountancy firm is growing rapidly, building a collaborative, supportive team where everyone contributes to success and where improvement is a constant focus.
We are looking for a motivated, detail-focused Administrator who thrives in a busy environment, is confident with Xero, and enjoys being part of a tight-knit, professional team.
What this role involves:
- Client Engagement: Welcome visitors, answer phones, and be the friendly, professional face of the business.
- Xero Management: Oversee debtors and payables ledgers, monthly billing, and implement direct debit systems.
- Support Services: Assist with Directors email and calendar management and general admin tasks.
- Workflow Efficiency: Maintain timesheets, manage year-end processes, and ensure timely delivery of financial statements.
- Payroll & Compliance: Handle payroll for select clients and manage the e-filing of tax returns.
- On boarding & AML: Lead the rollout of an electronic on boarding and the AML system.
- Company Admin: Incorporate companies, file annual returns, and manage disbursements and client documents.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement better ways of doing things — we welcome fresh thinking, especially from outside the CA world.
- General Office Duties: Pitch in to keep the kitchen tidy and contribute to a positive team culture.
