The Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting across the Group, while also supporting projects that drive efficiency and improvement.

You’ll be responsible for month-end and year-end processes, preparing statutory accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting the annual audit. Beyond this, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to process and system improvements, further broadening your experience.

It’s a role that offers variety, complexity, and the chance to stretch your skills across multiple entities and countries — all within a business that values balance, openness, and genuine teamwork.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified Accountant (CA or similar) ready to make their first move from public practice into a commercial setting, or someone who’s already gained commercial accounting experience and is looking to step up into a more complex, multi-entity environment
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex functions)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. JDE) or BI tools (e.g. Power BI) would be a plus

If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact, work alongside great people, and grow your career within a respected New Zealand business, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
