We are working with a large Christchurch-based business seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 3–6 month contract. This role will support the Finance Manager and broader team while the organisation undergoes structural change.

The Role:

As a Contract Financial Accountant, you’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly financial and management reports
• Assisting with budgeting and business planning
• Analysing business performance and providing insights
• Supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations

About You:

To hit the ground running, you’ll need to be:

• A fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent)
• Experienced in financial accounting and reporting
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-focused
• A strong communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels
