A well-established fresh-produce business is seeking an experienced Business & Operations Manager to join its senior leadership team. This is a broad, organisation-wide leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for bringing together people, operations, financial performance, supply, quality, systems and business improvement to deliver the organisation's strategic and operational objectives.

The Role

You will lead and coordinate:

• Production, harvesting and post-harvest operations
• Supply planning, inventory and operational capacity
• Financial and business performance
• People leadership and organisational capability
• Quality, health & safety, compliance and risk
• Business systems, reporting and data
• Continuous improvement and strategic projects

A key part of the role will be working closely with the commercial leadership function to align customer demand and market opportunities with supply, operational capability and business priorities.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded and highly capable leader who can see the whole business, not just one function. You will ideally have senior leadership experience in fresh produce, food, agriculture, FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain or other operationally complex environments.

• Proven operational leadership experience
• Excellent people and leadership skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach
• Strong planning, systems and performance-management capability
• The ability to lead through other managers and build organisational capability
• Sound judgement when priorities compete
