As Head of Farming, you will lead a  strong regional team of managers focused on delivering solid bottom line results with an emphasis on leveraging across the total farming portfolio encouraging, efficiency, optimisation and team work, with a close eye on environmental foot print and sustainability plus the opportunity to invest for future generations.

Your reach will be across 14 operational units that cover Dairy Support, Beef Breeding, Finishing , a strong sheep production unit and a Dairy Beef program. Your influence will start with participation at senior management level working with the General Manager and your equivalent within the Dairy operation to establish the focus, strategy and direction.

For a business of this size, you will have demonstrable success and experience in managing across a multi-site and major asset base with your competencies supported by an appropriate Tertiary level qualification and a strength in commercial acumen and financial literacy. At the leadership level, you will be a strong communicator and team builder willing to join the team in the field when needed. Essential will be the ability to form and maintain sustainable relationships with your key stakeholder group.
