A rare opportunity has arisen for a seasoned finance leader to step into the role of General Manager – Finance, joining the Executive Leadership Team to help shape the future of the organisation.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you’ll do more than manage numbers—you’ll lead with purpose, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement. With the support of a team of four skilled finance professionals, you’ll bring cohesion and direction to critical functions like finance, payroll, procurement, and investment management—ensuring the organisation remains sustainable and impactful well into the future.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee essential business services including finance, payroll, and procurement
  • Lead the implementation of an automated finance and payroll/rostering system
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Team
  • Foster transparency and stewardship around funding, grants, and donations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, auditors, and suppliers
  • Guide financial and operational strategy across the organisation

You’ll Also Have

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) registration
  • Proven experience in senior finance roles including financial compliance, budgeting and strategic planning
  • Experience leading systems or digital transformation
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills

Remuneration: $140,000 – $150,000
