Highford Marketing is a respected Christchurch-based business that helps New Zealand products reach markets around the world. Behind their success is a small, close-knit team who value accuracy, teamwork, and a genuine sense of care for one another. Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for a capable Finance Administrator to join them. This is a part-time position working 30 hours per week across five days, offering a great balance of variety and stability in a friendly and supportive environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays an important part in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be responsible for accurate data entry and reconciliations across sales, purchases, inventory, and bank accounts in MYOB.
Key tasks include:
- Entering and reconciling sales and purchase invoices (including foreign currency transactions)
- Processing payments and receipts
- Managing bank reconciliations and FX contracts
- Supporting month-end reporting
- Maintaining accurate records and managing the accounts inbox
About You:
You’ll be someone who takes pride in doing things right. With experience in finance or accounts administration, you’ll have a good head for numbers and an eye for detail. You will also bring:
- Proficiency in MYOB (or similar) and Excel
- A methodical, reliable approach to your work
- Great communication and a collaborative mindset — you enjoy being part of a team where everyone supports each other
