The benefit to diagnostic capabilities at a global level, is both transformative and ground breaking having significant beneficial implication in delivering premium imaging in the community as well as in the areas of cardiovascular, orthopaedic and oncology medical research and analysis.
With regulatory milestones approaching in major global markets, the business is entering a critical phase transitioning from advanced product development into scalable manufacture and deployment.
We are seeking a Head of Engineering who wants real technical ownership.
What you will be stepping into
The Head of Engineering as part of the Senior Management team and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will own the engineering function end-to-end — leading multidisciplinary teams across software, electronics, mechanical, systems and verification — to deliver robust, compliant, production-ready medical devices.
Your mandate includes:
- Scaling engineering capability, structure and delivery discipline
- Driving design maturity from prototype through clinical validation to manufacture
- Embedding strong design controls and documentation rigor aligned to ISO 13485
- Aligning engineering execution with regulatory, clinical and commercial objectives
You will be an experienced engineering leader who has already delivered complex regulated products — ideally medical devices — from development into production. You understand the realities of balancing technical ambition with compliance, timelines and cost.
You will likely bring:
- A degree in engineering, physics or similar technical discipline
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Experience integrating software within complex hardware systems
- Working knowledge of medical device regulatory frameworks
Most importantly, you can build a high-performing engineering culture that combines innovation with delivery discipline and outcomes.
Opportunities to lead engineering for a globally significant medical technology platform at this stage of growth are rare. This is a chance to shape both product and team as the company scales internationally.
