SKOPE Industries Ltd is a family-owned New Zealand company renowned for its innovative design and manufacturing. Since 1945, the market-leading SKOPE brand has been supplying commercial refrigeration to some of the world’s largest hospitality and retail players. As part of the SKOPE Group, SKOPE Funding provides financing options for their Australasian customers to fund SKOPE equipment, demonstrating their commitment to support their customers and provide a seamless service.

The General Manager of SKOPE Funding will lead the funding business, fostering a collaborative and customer-centric culture within the team. With a focus on continuous improvement, the General Manager will provide strategic advice on increasing efficiency within the fund administration process, driving business growth across the SKOPE Group, and managing risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the Funding team to ensure key business targets and priorities are achieved.
  • Implement the funding strategy according to the agreement of SKOPE’s Executive team.
  • Oversee financial management including financial reporting, budgets, and reporting for Board review, including liaison with the Group CFO.
  • Ensure SKOPE meets statutory obligations and complies with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Build strong relationships within Funding, Services, and Industries to ensure the SKOPE Group is working to the same agreed priorities.
  • Develop and implement plans for systems integration and process improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the banking/finance field with a proven track record in a senior leadership role. You should be able to demonstrate previous experience working in a credit management or finance role, including hands-on knowledge of the funding administration process. This is not an opportunity to work for a standalone finance company but an opportunity to contribute to the SKOPE Group as a whole. As such, we are looking for someone who has also gained wider business experience outside the finance sector.

Why SKOPE?

SKOPE offers a culture of innovation, quality, and sustainability. At SKOPE, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values creativity, excellence, and collaborative success. They offer competitive remuneration, a superannuation scheme, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

SKOPE Industries Ltd is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug test, as well as police, credit, AML and qualification checks.

SKOPE is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals. We believe a diverse workforce will enhance our ability to provide a more comprehensive experience for our customers.
