We’re on the lookout for a Senior Financial Accountant who’s passionate about continuous improvement, confident challenging the status quo, and excited to bring fresh ideas and energy to an established, collaborative finance team. You'll join a team that supports a successful Trans-Tasman business — and you’ll be a key player in improving month-end processes, delivering accurate financial reports, and helping to shape future sustainability reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key reporting obligations for Australian operations
• Spot ways to improve reporting processes and make them happen
• Help develop and roll out sustainability reporting – a great opportunity to grow your experience in this space
• Work across NZ and Australia teams, supporting audits, compliance, and system improvements
• Lead the preparation of AU subsidiary financial statements and support the preparation of Group financial statements
• Support the AU Tax Manager with all statutory requirements
• Be a go-to person for questions, ideas, and support – especially for more junior team members

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified Accountant (CA or similar) with a solid foundation in financial reporting or audit
• A natural change agent - curious, proactive, and always seeking smarter ways to do things
• Able to manage complexity and communicate clearly with stakeholders
• Comfortable working with people across teams and locations
• Bonus points if you’ve worked with Australian standards before
