Our client is seeking a seasoned financial leader for a unique opportunity to work closely with the CFO on critical business initiatives. If you thrive in ambiguity, excel under pressure, and love tackling varied financial challenges – this is your role.

About the role:

As the Senior Financial Manager – Special Projects, you’ll take ownership of high-impact, high-visibility projects across the business. You will play a key role in:

• Driving financial modelling and commercial insights
• Projects will include capital raise activities and external partner engagements
• Provide leadership and some mentoring within the wider finance team
• Partnering closely with the CFO to provide strategic, operational and analytical support
• Juggling multiple complex work streams with precision and proactivity

What you need to bring:

This role demands a flexible and confident finance professional who can seamlessly pivot between strategic oversight and hands-on delivery.

• 15+ years' experience in finance/accounting, with a strong track record of senior-level impact
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and relevant tertiary education
• Outstanding financial modelling capabilities and commercial acumen
• Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – to engage and influence stakeholders
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
• Experience in a manufacturing based environment is ideal, or alternatively, large-scale enterprise experience
• Advanced data modelling skills and a can-do, solutions-focused attitude
