Our client is a well-established industry leader that continues to expand across the full range of its production, importing and retail operations, through a strong commitment to a long term investment strategy, while working in partnership with its suppliers to meet the changing needs of its customers.

Reporting to the General Manager, this is viewed as a key position in the team with core responsibility for the accounts processing and payroll functions through to the month end reporting. Working with two other administration staff, you will also play a role in the ongoing development of some new business processes and information systems and so knowledge of business systems would be advantageous.  The role will also provide a good range of exposure to different parts of the operations and with that will come definite scope for development.

We view this role as an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant who is looking for a part time role (25 hours per week) where they can also have that work life balance. You don’t need to be fully qualified but you need to be a person who is still keen to learn and develop. The nature of the role means you will have set core hours but can also have some flexibility. On a personal level we want to identify those candidates with strong communication skills, who are well organised, proactive and solutions focused in their approach.
