Marketing, Communications, and Sales Recruitment Specialist
Every business owner, team leader, and HR recruiter in New Zealand knows good talent is hard to find. Great people are snapped up straight away. And that’s where I come in.
I’m Christchurch’s go-to recruiter for marketing, communications, and sales. Marketing managers, communication advisors, digital marketers, graphic designers, account, and business development managers, I know them all. I also relish those tricky specialist roles in other areas, from project managers to land developers. And if I don’t know the right person, someone in my network will.
Finding top talent requires a different approach
Maybe you’ve tried and failed to fill a role. Maybe you know the person you want is going to be hard to find. When you’re looking for specialist skills, it can take a little more work than placing an ad on Seek. Sometimes you get lucky, and a brilliant candidate has itchy feet at just the right time. But often, true talent needs to be shoulder tapped.
I go out to my network, hunt down brilliant people, and encourage them to consider your role. The traditional approach to recruitment is too slow these days. Good people get offers fast. So, I move fast as well. As I meet top quality candidates, I send them straight to you. I’ve also got a pool of exceptional executive contractors perfect for your short-term project needs.
Because of the way I work, honest, authentic, and straight up, I build relationships that last. You can rely on me for a lasting partnership where I understand your business needs, your culture, and get a feel for people who’ll fit your team. That’s why many of the organisations I recruit for have worked with me since I became a recruiter in 2016.
I know the challenges sales and marketing professionals face
I’ve worked in international sales and customer service and owned my own business, so I know the challenges sales and marketing professionals face first-hand. One day, a recruiter suggested my bulging address book and enthusiasm for connecting people made me a natural recruiter. Did I want to work with them? I’d been intrigued by recruitment for a while, even doing a short stint in Melbourne in my travelling years. So, I said yes, and I’ve loved it ever since.
Brought up on a North Canterbury Farm, I’ve always loved the open spaces outdoors. When I’m not hunting your next superstar, you’ll find me at the yoga studio, walking my dog, swimming, or enjoying live music.
My inbox is always open if you need recruitment advice
Recruitment is a game of join the dots where today’s new connection is tomorrow’s perfect candidate, and maybe next year you’ll be calling me to recruit your own team. So, I’m always happy to meet about your career. Even if I don’t have a role, things can change fast.
Equally I’m always happy to talk with team leaders about your team needs. Even if you’re not in active recruitment mode, I can keep an eye open for specialist talent, and give you a heads up so you’ve got a feel for who’s on the scene. So, whether you’re looking for talent or for your next challenge, get in touch. My inbox is always open. The coffee is always hot.
